Norwegian Dependency Treebank (NDT) was developed by the the Norwegian Language Bank at the National Library in collaboration with the Text Laboratory in the period of 2011-2014.

The morphological analysis follow Norwegian Reference Grammar, while Dependency Grammar is used for the syntactic analysis. Specific guidelines were created for the annotation of the corpus. The annotation is done automatically, but both treebanks are quality checked and manually corrected by two linguists.

NDT in Glossa is developed for language students and language researchers who want to do simple morphological and syntactic searches.

NDT can also be downloaded in CoNLL format, and has been widely used for language technology tasks.
