Academic interests

I am a linguist and cognitive scientist with a focus on speech, prosody, and gesture. My work explores how people perceive and process speech, with a particular interest in cross-linguistic perspectives. I use experimental methods to explore how prosody and gesture shape our perception of the timing and structure of language.
