Current Research

PhD student on the project Old Norse Poetry and the Development of Saga Literature (2021–2024). The subject of my dissertation is Saxo Grammaticus’ reworkings of Old Norse poetry in Gesta Danorum.

Background

Editor at Diplomatarium Suecanum in the Swedish National Archives (2016–2017). Previously research assistent at the projects The Legacy of Birgitta of Sweden: Women, Politics, and Reform in Renaissance Italy (UiO), Looking for the Impersonal Core – Impersonal Pronouns across Germanic Languages (UiO), Ars edendi (Stockholm University) and Retracing the Reformation: The Dissemination of the Bible in Medieval Scandinavian Culture (Stockholm University). Bachelor’s degrees in Latin (2013) and Nordic languages (2015), and a Master’s degree in Viking and Medieval Studies (Old Norse Philology, 2019).
