Academic interests

Gro Bjørnerud Mo's area of study is French literature.

Gro Bjørnerud Mo specializes in early modern poetry, rhetoric, and history. Her research also includes publications on French literature and culture in the 19th, the 20th and the 21st century. She was the vice dean at the faculty of humanities from 2017 – 2014. From 2017 – 2021 she served (full time) as pro rector at UiO. Her most recent publications are on dreams in Proust, on consolations in Malherbe and the role of the seven wonders in Du Bellay.

On the advisory Board of the Nordic network for Renaissance studies.
