Academic interests
My academic interests lie in modern and contemporary Italian/European history, with particular emphasis on social, labour, gender, migration, and diplomatic history. My research explores transnational connections, cultural exchanges, and the circulation of people, ideas, and cultures across borders. I am especially interested in migration history, cultural diplomacy, international relations, and the ways in which gender has shaped social, cultural, and political transformations in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
