Contact us before the deadline
Once you get in touch with us, we can establish the validity of your need for a deferral of deadline and give you further information about what you need to do and when.
If you fail to submit your assignment or essay, and fail to get in touch with us, within the deadline, your assignment or essay will be considered as not submitted. This has the same implications as not showing up for an exam.
Deferral of deadline is granted only on the basis of valid, documented reasons. You can read more about this on the University web page concerning illness during exams.
Questions about deferral of deadline
Any questions about deferral of deadline should always be directed to the Department front office, not to your teacher.
The front office is located on the 3rd floor in Georg Morgenstiernes hus and it is open every weekday between 10:00 and 14:00. The telephone number is 22 85 69 11 and the telephone is serviced between 09:00 and 15:00. We do not recommend the use of e-mail for questions about deferral of deadlines.
