Siri Sande was Director of The Norwegian Institute in Rome 2003–2007. Trained as a classical archaeologist, her expertise embraces a wide range of topics, like Greek and Roman sculpture and portraiture, architecture, triumphal monuments, and iconography. Prof. Sande has led and participated in several excavations in Italy and Greece. She is known as an inspiring teacher and is one of Norway's leading experts on the Ancient World. See more here.
