Structure and progression of the PhD programme
The PhD program has a standard duration of three years and consists of an educational component and a doctoral thesis. Candidates receive close follow-up and academic supervision, and we encourage stays abroad.
Regulations and programme plan
It is important that you familiarize yourself with the regulations governing researcher training at the Faculty of Humanities.
Midway assessment
The purpose of the midway assessment is for PhD candidates to receive an assessment of the status of their project and whether the project is on track for completion as planned.
Progress reports
All PhD candidates are required to submit an annual report to the person responsible for the PhD programme at their department. The deadline is 15 December.
You will be contacted prior to the reporting deadline regarding what to report and how to do so.
Failure to submit a report will result in the loss of your place in the programme.
