HEI: Heritage Experience Initiative has the pleasure of inviting to HEI's second heritage day.

We wish to repeat last year’s success, and invite to yet another exciting day of lectures and stands in Georg Sverdrups entrance hall. The heritage day is a day of dialogue and for inspiration for all who study or work with heritage.

This year’s theme is ‘heritage and environment’ with a special focus on the relationship between heritage and current environmental challenges. The day will consist of talks and discussions on how museums and other heritage institutions relate to environment and sustainability, in exhibitions, research and dissemination.

This year we will not be able to arrange for stands. However, those who are interested can receive 5 minutes to present their projects before the talks begin. Presentations can consist of traditional PP presentations, or prerecorded film or sound clips. If you wish to contribute with a presentation, please contact Sofie Scheen Jahnsen, e-mail: s.s.jahnsen@iakh.uio.no.

HEI: Heritage Experience Initiative is a research and teaching initiative at UiO, initiated by IAKH, IKOS and DNIR at the Faculty of Humanities, in collaboration with KHM. HEI aims at developing deeper insights into what heritage is, and the role of heritage today. An important goal is to build a long term relationship between UiO and the heritage sector.
