The research project Icelandic youth language – an empirical study of communicative resources at the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies has been responsible for the recordings and transcriptions. The corpus has been added to the search tool Glossa, which was developed at the Text Laboratory.

The corpus has 120 speakers from 16 schools in Iceland, and the recordings are made in the school year 2018-2019.
