What is the relation between the metaphysicians' conception of fundamentality, and fundamentality in physics? I aim to develop a new conception of fundamentality in physics, which is useful for understanding the fundamentality of physics (the special place of physics amongst the sciences). I also want to explore the implications for metaphysics.
