Is living a life with AI eudaimonic or a wasted one? Is today's concern about AI communication making humans more intellectually lazy analogous to Plato's worry regarding writing? This talk first explores the relationship between AI communication and human flourishing. It then examines some "good, bad, and ugly" aspects of AI communication from the perspective of human flourishing, using the phenomenon of linguistic plausible deniability in both human and AI communication as a case study.
