About the network
The purpose of the forum is to promote a critically engaged form of philosophy which attempts to understand and critique contemporary society – and search for possibilities for emancipation within it. At the same time, we will address classic issues and topics from the broad philosophical tradition.
The forum organizes meetings where we discuss:
- primary texts by thinkers who were either part of the Frankfurt School or were associated with the tradition
- literature that interprets, develops, applies, or criticizes the tradition
- drafts and articles associated with the tradition written by the forum's own members
We also plan to organize larger seminars and conferences.
