We are happy to welcome a professor of soil biology at Lund University in Sweden Håkan Wallander as our guest for the Anthropogenic Soils Reading Group for the November session. Håkan has been working with mycorrhizal fungi (fungi that grow in symbiosis with plants) for several decades and includes both natural and managed ecosystems in his studies. In this month's session, Håkan will share his research results from his studies of forest ecosystems in Sweden, grasslands in Iceland and agricultural fields in Kenya.
