Academic interests

My doctoral project is a part of the HUM.AI.N-ACCENT network, and it will investigate the effects of regional vs. foreign-accented exposure in early childhood on the development of lexical representations and cognitive skills.

My research interests can all be captured under the broad theme of language and migration. I have previously worked in psycholinguistic projects dealing with different aspects of Polish-English bilingualism in childhood. I have also conducted sociolinguistic studies with various Polish diasporas exploring questions related to attitudes towards heritage languages and diasporic identity formation.
