The participants took technologies such as Dart, Python, Pure Data, Max, and Javascript / WebGL to create a variety of dynamic visual logos for the network.
We had 7 teams competing for various prizes including gift cards and t-shirts
The winning team was MCTeam, whose submission had really nice retro and glitchy aesthetic. Their easy to read code was also technically interesting, using text to speech, filters and dual-tone multi-frequency tones, and was both interactive and personalised to the computer the code was being run on.

The runners up included Pedros entry, which was a logo is based on the chemical formula related to the C2HO name, and MCT Team C, whose submission was based around a combination of a repeating sequence of notes and free running, pitch modulated sine waves.

Picking the winners wasn’t an easy task as all the submissions had something interesting to offer, both from aesthetic and technical perspectives. We thank everyone for taking part, and for presenting their work at the opening event - we hope you enjoyed the hackathon!
