When and where?
- 19 October, 09:00–17:00, and 20 October, 09:00–17:00
- Both days will take place on the 12th floor of Niels Treschows hus (map link).
- All participants will receive free lunch on both days, as well as coffee/tea and light refreshments throughout the event.
- Day two will conclude with an award ceremony and pizza at Union371.
You will take part in an interdisciplinary group of 4–5 students and find a solution to a real case from an exciting and attractive employer. The client is currently a secret and will only be announced when the case competition begins and the case to be solved is presented. The theme is sustainability and preparedness.

- All master’s and bachelor’s students enrolled in study programmes at the Faculty of Humanities may participate. Bachelor’s students should have completed at least 60 ECTS credits.
- By registering for the case competition, you commit to participating on both 19 and 20 October, from 09:00 to 17:00. Both the group work and the pitch will be conducted in English.
What is a Case-competition?
Students work together in teams of 4–5 over two days to solve a “real-world problem” presented by an external company or organisation.
- The teams compete by presenting the best solution to the given problem, or case, to a panel of judges.
- The owner of the case — the company or organisation — is kept secret until the day of the case competition.
- The theme of this autumn’s competition is sustainability; further details will be provided at the start of the competition.
- If you are a second-year BA or MA student at the Faculty of Humanities, you are eligible to participate. Some students will take part as part of a course they are enrolled in, while working alongside other students who participate outside their formal studies.
- Each member of the winning team will receive a gift card, and all participants will receive a diploma that they can attach to their CV.
