I am a doctoral research fellow in Paleoenvironmental Biomarkers under the supervision of Dr. David Keith Wright and Dr. Jonathan Jago Birk at the University of Oslo. I am interested in the reconstruction of pre-historic human land use, settlements, and fire occurrences. I currently investigate the past human occupation and associated vegetation of Central Asia from loess deposits in Tajikistan using faecal biomarkers coupled with n-alkanes and stable isotopes.
