Academic interests
With a background in archaeology and cultural heritage management, I have developed an academic interest in value theory. I study how things becomes 'heritage' and the values embodied in these things. I study this through literature studies and anthropological methods.
I have narrowed my interest in built heritage of the present and other fragments of modernity. I'm especially interest in how things and its material assamblages affects human and value-processes, and how these human-material relations manifests itself in the heritage disocurses.
