In this session two of our MA-students will present their ongoing research on climate and weather. The projects are:

  • Johan Anton Morken: Tempests and Trials: The Role of Extreme Weather in the Finnmark Witch Hunts (17th century)
  • Hanna Sæther Thommessen: Taking the Temperature of the Times: The Social and Climatic Drivers of Johan Daniel Berlin’s Meteorological Studies (18th century)
