Academic interests
I am interested in architectural drawing as a visual and material medium for understanding architectural thinking and design in the early modern period. My PhD dissertation focuses on the Danish-Norwegian architect Lambert van Haven (1630–1695), examining the representation and interpretation of architectural form and space in his two-dimensional drawings.
