Her research interests lie at the intersection of ecocriticism, multispecies studies, and fashion studies, with particular attention to the interplay between clothing production and human–environment relations. Her Master’s thesis investigated how transformations in fur design and manufacture reflect shifting multispecies entanglements, and how this informs ongoing debates on biocentrism, animal welfare, and ethical garment production.
From February to March 2026, she will be a guest researcher at the Oslo Center for Environmental Humanities (OCEH), where she will expand her work on the ethical and environmental implications of clothing manufacture through archival research in Oslo’s public and academic libraries. Prior to her stay in Norway, she collaborated with institutions engaged in responsible fashion practices, contributing to circular initiatives during an exchange at the University of Guelph (Ontario) and supporting research on textile recycling and up-cycling while working for a start-up company in Molise, her home region in Southern Italy.
