The Work and Role of the Chinese Studies Student Association
The Chinese Studies Student Association is a student association connected to the Department of Culture, Religion, Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (IKOS). Our aim is to represent the students of Chinese Studies at the University of Oslo. We work to promote a good academic and social life for our students, and we also act as a link between the students, the institute and the university in general. Following this, we are open to questions or complaints in regards to Chinese studies and the institute, or our events. Furthermore, we also arrange social and academic events for our students throughout the year.
If you are interested in joining our association and want to know more about our work, please do not hesitate to contact us. Any students of Chinese studies can become a member. You do, however, need to have an interest or opinions on how to better the academic and social life for the students of Chinese Studies. Being a member gives you the chance to get to know students from other years in their bachelors or masters in Chinese Studies as well.
