About the blog

Welcome to the blog dedicated to the students of the Arabic program at the University of Oslo! Here the students share their experiences with Arabic culture and learning the Arabic language.

Through reading about the experiences of the students of Arabic, newcomers to the program can gain cultural knowledge and get a taste of the target culture. Our blog writers are eager to share their perspectives and insights with the readers.   

The readers of the blog can expect to gain new perspectives on Arabic culture, and maybe also be challenged on some of their prejudices.  

The goal of the blog is both to empower the students, and to promote the diversity of activities and experiences in the program.  

We also hope that our blog can inspire colleagues from other universities to carry out various/different projects and tasks that promote the development of cultural and intercultural competencies with/in the students.
