Faglige interesser
My current position is as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Linguistic and Scandinavian Studies. My project Texts to Rule and Regulate is a part of the research program Modes of Modification. Variance and Change in Medieval Manuscript Culture. In my project I am investigating the use and development of administrative texts, like laws and charters, in Scandinavia 1100-1600.

Background
In my pre-academic career I have worked as a typograph and as an economist.
I graduated as a bachelor in Western European Medieval Studies and as a master in Old Norse Philolgy at the University of Oslo.
My doctoral thesis is from the University of Gothenburg and has the title Lov og tekst i middelalderen. Produksjon og resepsjon av Magnus Lagabøtes landslov.
Verv
Undervisningskoordinator for the BA-program in Norrøne og keltiske studier and for the MA-programs Viking and Medieval Studies, and Viking and Medieval Norse Studies.
Member of the Research Committee at the Department of Linguistic and Scandinavian Studies.
