Recently, IMV has been able to acquire six mini-studio facilities located in rehearsal rooms on the 4th and basement floors. The mini-studios are available for all IMV students and consist of basic music production hardware, designed for low-threshold and basic music production and mixing activities.
In addition, to complement our Dolby-certified Mixing suite, IMV now has the infrastructure to record audio in Atmos and other surround sound formats. Dolby Atmos is an advanced surround sound format for music production. With many precisely placed speakers and advanced signal processing, Atmos enables music production in 3D where sound comes not only from the front, but also from the back, sides, and above.
