Summary:
Work in Projects: Music production work, digital audio workstations, and how democracies work
The thesis deals with record production work as project work, and tries to locate music makers' musical projects in their broader reality of late capitalism and liberal democracy. It also looks into the role of music production technology in contemporary music making practices, asking how music makers experience the opportunities and limitations of digital audio workstations in relation to their projects.
