– Describe the most important aspects of your job today?

– The most important part of my job is conducting human rights due diligence on behalf of Thon Gruppen. This involves identifying, assessing and addressing potential and actual human rights violations in our global value chains.

– What do you like best about your job?

– I get to work with what I am most passionate about: corporate responsibility for human rights in global value chains. I especially enjoy working between theory and practice, and turning complex sustainability issues into concrete actions.

– How is the education from The Faculty of Humanities relevant in this job?

– The studies are very relevant because they taught me to think critically and understand complex issues from different perspectives. In my job, I work with questions where ethics, business, law and global power dynamics intersect, and that way of thinking is useful every day.

– What’s your best tip for new students who are concerned about their job opportunities after graduation?

– My advice is to explore what you find interesting and seek practical experience through internships, part-time work or projects.
