The file repository contains more than 3000 files with associated metadata and transcriptions from the LIA Norwegian Corpus. The transcriptions can be downloaded in ELAN format from the file depot, while the audio can be streamed.
The infrastructure project LIA (Language Infrastructure made Accessible) was a national collaboration between four universities (UiO, UiB, UiT and NTNU), the Norwegian Dictionary 2014 and the National Library. The main goal of the project was to save old spoken dialect recordings of Norwegian and Sami languages so that they could be revitalized as valuable research material.
