History of Magna Graecia, Greek and Roman Epigraphy, Material Text Cultures, Digital Humanities, Ancient Religions.

PhD project

My PhD research will explore the interactions between Rome and the Greek cities of southern Italy during the Republican and early Imperial period, to find out to what extent Roman culture penetrated in Greek communities, how strategies for acquisition of consent were developed, transmitted, and embraced by local communities.
