Academic interests

The Early Middle Ages in general, especially the Eastern Frankish Kingdom.
In research, it is especially monastic societies in the upper Rhine valley and the lake Constance region which is my area of interest.

Background

As a part of the MiNITEXTs project I'm currently writing my Phd-dissertation on the organization of early medieval libraries, the ownership of books and the functions of booklists in manuscripts contexts. My background is from the University of Oslo. In 2022 I delivered my MA, titled: The Einsiedeln Manuscript: A Historical Study of a Ninth-Century Carolingian Manuscript and East Frankish Scribal Culture.
In 2019 I delievered my BA, titled: Royal Carolingian Burials: The Power of Location.
