Faglige interesser


Mine hovudinteresser er historieskriving, helgenkult og identitetskonstruksjon, og korleis desse tre fenomena ofte overlappar kvarandre. I tillegg forskar eg på fragment av mellomalderhandskrift, med særleg fokus på Skandinavia. Eg arbeider òg med resepsjonen av bruken av mellomalderen i moderne kultur. 

 I hovudsak arbeider eg med materiale frå Nord-Europa i perioden 1000-1300, men når det gjeld hovudinteressene forskar eg òg på materiale frå tidlegare og seinare periodar
