Academic Interests

Modern and contemporary Norwegian and European Theatre history, dramaturgy, theatre analysis and critics and theatre theory (both academic theory and theory of theatre practice)

Higher education and employment history

MA in Theatre Studies from the University of Bergen, autumn 1989. BA in English and Scandinavian languages and literature, autumn 1987. Teacher Education Programme at the Department of Education and School Research, University of Oslo, spring 2002. Taught drama, Norwegian and English in secondary schools in Oslo, 1990-1992 and 2002. Taught Theatre Studies at the Universities of Bergen and Oslo since 1990 and since 1997 been sensor at all levels at the Section for Theatre Studies, University of Bergen and Department of Art and Media Studies, University of Trondheim (NTNU). Lecturer in Theatre Studies at IKOS since 1.1.2005.
