Academic interests
I am interested in the intersection of religion, Indigenous rights and environmentalism, particularly in contested landscapes. My doctoral research project focuses on Sámi resistance against wind turbine expansion in northern Norway and how certain actors are mobilizing narratives about “the sacred” and sacred landscapes in their advocacy strategies.
My supervisors are Associate Professor Hugo Reinert (IKOS) and co-supervisor Professor Torjer Olsen, UiT: The Arctic University of Norway.
