In March 2023, Norway's first Green Office opened at the University of Oslo. With support from then Vice-Rector Mette Halskov Hansen, they implemented the European model from the Green Office Movement to establish a sustainability platform at the university. Now, two and a half years later, through trial and error, the Green Office is taking small steps toward making sustainability an integral part of the University of Oslo.

In this seminar, the speakers from the Green Office will introduce the projects they have been working on over the past few years, which range from sewing courses for students, collaborations with the gardeners and student associations, to their close follow-up on the rectorate election, highlighting environmental and climate issues as strategic commitments of Norwegian universities. They also invite us to engage in a discussion with them on how we can improve their work, expand their perspectives, and better integrate the entire institution into this transition.

Please bring your own lunch, coffee will be served.
