Bibliotheca Polyglotta

This is a lexicographical data-base project for Multilingualism, Linguae Francae and the Global History of Religious and Scientific Concepts

About the project

The Bibliotheca Polyglotta (BP) is a multilingual corpus of historically important texts. As such it is a resource to access the global history of concepts as displayed in a number of languages, and it demonstrates how concepts diffuse historically into new languages, and thus into new cultural contexts. See further on the main page of the internet application. It has alltogether seven libraries, which can be viewed here: Bibliotheca Polyglotta.
