How do I get a supervisor?
All ILOS master’s students must write a project/thesis outline and have a supervisor for their thesis.
All ILOS master's students must take the thesis proposal course in their programme option and write a thesis proposal. After you complete your thesis proposal course, you will be assigned a supervisor based on your proposal. You and your supervisor then need to sign an agreement of supervision, and turn in to the study advisor. The template for the agreement can be found here (Faculty of Humanities website) and on your master's thesis course page.
The routines vary on how supervisors are assigned. Contact your study advisor if you want to know what the routines are for your program. You can also contact the study advisor if you have questions concerning the supervision process.
