Academic interests
I am interested in how events live on via media, specifically, the role that images play in how we remember, feel, and think about events. I am currently working on a project that explores images of atrocities. The project explores cases that range from the early modern period to the present.
Background
I received my Master’s degree from the Department of Media and Communication’s Screen Cultures program at the University of Oslo. My Bachelor’s degree was taken at Temple University’s Center for the Arts in Philadelphia, USA.
Since Moving to Norway in 2017 I have worked in film and TV post-production. In 2021 I co-founded and was a board member of the post-production house Bråkmaker AS. In addition, I have held positions at Kunstnernes Hus Kino.
