Background

Educated in an interdisciplinary area—media and communication, information and cognitive science, film studies, and sociology—, I subscribe to second-order cybernetics in my research. I have taught and researched in various organizations—universities, think tanks, etc.—across the USA, Bangladesh, and Norway. I am developing a neocybernetic film theory while examining the domestication of cinema geared by digitization. My signature lies in understanding people and communities by examining their cognition nested into the social ground.
