Wednesday October 15, we invite everyone to a workshop with Eryk Salvaggio, a researcher, artist, and filmmaker.

In this workshop, the artist and AI researcher Eryk Salvaggio describes the underlying technology of image, sound and video generation (diffusion models) with a critical eye.

How does an AI image work - how are they produced, and what social factors become entangled within them?

Designed to require no technical background, participants will leave the workshop with a deeper understanding of the sociocultural systems of AI, strengthen their understanding of bias and representation, and practice applying a deeper level of critique to the images they produce.

There will be two individual events this day - a workshop at UiO and a filmscreening at Trekanten (City centre - Pilestredet/Universitetsgata).
