My current PhD project is an historical and environmental study of an ancient type of herding song of Scandinavia named "kulokk". Through my research, I aim not only researching the musicological aspects of this tradition, but also taking in consideration the historical recontextualisation, acoustic studies, in-depth observations on the feminine character and the ecological study of the sustainability of herding calls over time and within our modern relation to culture, nature and animals.
