Academic interests

I am interested in how children become skilled communicators in one or multiple languages. My main area of interest is children's processing of semantic and pragmatic aspects of language (e.g. irony, metonymy, reported speech) and the relationship between children's linguistic and cognitive development. I use different kinds of methods such as eye-tracking and behavioral tasks.
