Academic Interests

late antique and early medieval history in general (c. 300–1000), and more specifically, Carolingian history, the history of the Viking Age, and late antique and early medieval cultural history

Supervision of BA students (HIS3090) and MA students (HIS4090&HIS4095) in late antique, early medieval and Viking Age history.
