Academic interests

I am writing a doctoral thesis on Augustine of Hippo's philosophical dialogues and his metaphysics of truth, focusing on Augustine's argument for the existence of God in On the Freedom of the Will.

My philosophical interests are broadly in the history of philosophy, from ancient to early modern, with a special focus on the Platonic tradition and questions relating to metaphysics, philosophy of religion, and philosophy of mind.

Background

I have a bachelor's and master's degree in philosophy from the University of Uppsala, Sweden. I have also previously worked as a journalist (you can read about some of my work in the Guardian, which was nominated for the investigative journalism prize Guldspaden). I still occasionally write criticism for the Swedish newspaper Expressen.
