PhD project

I defended my PhD thesis in the spring of 2026. The overarching theme for my PhD was primary progressive aphasia and conversations. More specifically, I explored a multilevel discourse intervention and the communication partner training program Better Conversation with Primary Progressive Aphasia intervention.  I also used conversation analysis to explore everyday conversations between people with primary progressive aphasia and their communication partner.
