Academic interests

In my PhD project, I explore the role of trust when people use generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) as a source of political information. I investigate what builds trust in GenAI at different levels (the technology itself, the tools, and the content they produce) as well as how this trust shapes people’s use of such tools and how it differs across social groups. I also seek to understand how trust in GenAI relates to trust in traditional media, political actors, and institutions, and more broadly, what these relationships might mean for democracy. I am affiliated with the research project KnowAI.

Background

I hold a bachelor's degree in sociology from ISS and a master's degree in media studies from IMK. PhD fellow at IMK starting in August 2025.
