Upcoming 5 days

25 Jan.
Time and place: Jan. 25, 2020 2:00 PM6:00 PM, Kunstnernes hus

Following Thinkers: Place, Philosophy and Architecture Explored Through Filmmaking is a two-part screening that deals with what it means to follow thinkers who came before us. Anna Ulrikke Andersen and filmmaker and film theoretician d.n. Rodowick (University of Chicago) screen a selection of films that relate to this theme. In Andersen's films, she follows Norberg-Schulz from Norway to Italy, while Rodowick explores where Plato's thinking took place. After the screening, there will be a conversation with professor of art history Ina Blom (UiO) and architect and architectural historian Ingrid Dobloug Roede (Transborder Studio/AHO). The event is produced by Julie Leding with support from Fritt Ord.
