This late January evening we experienced Vilde R. S. Reksnes (Postdoctor), and Margareta Berg (Research Fellow), both from the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, presented their individual projects under the Faculty of Humanities' strategic initiative 2024-2028 How do we understand machines that talk to us?

Lilly Pijnenburg Müller, (Postdoctor) from the Department of Media and Communication, followed by a panel debate on individual and shared experiences with the past two years experiences and exploration with communicating with AI, machines and/or LLM's. On stage in the concluding interdisciplinary debate was Taina Bucher (Professor), Dept. of Media and Communication, Ingrid Lossius Falkum (Professor) Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, Jamie Y. Findlay (Associate Professor), the Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies, and Alexander Moltubakk Kempton (Associate Professor) Dept. of Informatics.

Scene Domus Bibliotheca left few empty seats this Friday evening, and the panel debate, moderated by journalist and writer Erle Marie Sørheim, led to several interesting discussions between the panel and the audience.
