PhD Project
I study the writing of Norwegian literary history, focusing on how the transition between romanticism and realism is depicted in Norwegian literary histories. The term “poetic realism” is often employed in this context, though its usage varies in different literary histories. Further, I will also analyze the works of authors who are categorized as “poetic realists” in these literary histories. My project is part of NORN – Norwegian Romantic Nationalisms.
