Priority List for NORINT-courses

The Department of Linguistics and Scandinavian Studies regret that we do not have the capacity to offer free Norwegian courses to everyone who wishes to attend. The list below shows which groups are prioritized in the admission process.

Which groups are prioritised?

In order of priority:

  1. Incoming Exchange students (Erasmus+ and bilateral agreements)
  2. Academic Refugees, including Students at Risk
  3. Fullbright students
  4. International students in English-language Master's programmes with focus on Nordic language and Culture

Groups that may be offered course places if any places are available:

  1. Students who take a full English-language Master's degree at UiO (Including all Self-financing and EU/EØS applicants to English-language Master's programmes)
  2. Quota scheme students in all English-language Master's programmes who where admitted before 2017
